we are Managing
Partner: Clive Viegas Bennett  Clive
Viegas Bennett is a member of Faculty of world leading management training company
Imparta in London. He has been a consultant for various foreign companies in Portugal.
Apart from his activity as a trainer and consultant, he teaches at two universities
in Lisbon. He is a founding partner of Lisbon-based head-hunters Ad Capita International
Search. Clive is also an qualified professional translator
For
eight years he was Managing Director of MacAndrews Portugal, subsidiary of the
British Andrew Weir Group. Clive transformed a company with serious financial
and organisational problems into one of the most prestigious and profitable companies
in its sector. Before
coming to Portugal in 1987, his previous career was as a senior official in the
House of Commons in London. Among other positions, he ran the Environment Select
Committee and was Secretary to the British Delegations to the NATO and Council
of Europe parliamentary assemblies. He
carries out research about management culture jointly with Cranfield School of
Management and Henley Management College in the UK. He is the main author of the
acclaimed studies "Can Portuguese management compete?"*
and "Can Irish management compete?".
He has been an external examiner in quantitative methods at Cranfield. He is on
the Board of the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce. He was Director of the
2000 Europe-Asia Civil Society Summit in Lisbon and chaired the 2001 Portuguese
Telecommunications Conference. Clive was a guest speaker at the 2002 top-level
meetings between European companies and the Portuguese Government, under the auspices
of the European Commission's Ad Hoc Council. He
was in the top five in his MBA class at Cranfield in the UK in 1998. He has an
MA in Psychology and Philosophy from Oxford University. He has a Diploma in Translation
from the Institute of Linguists in London, with a Distinction in business translation.
His native language is English and he speaks fluent Portuguese and French. He
also has a good working knowledge of Spanish. Clive
Viegas Bennett is British and lives with his family on the coast near Lisbon.

Mark Crathorne  Mark
Crathorne has more than 10 years experience as a management consultant and trainer,
first with multinational Doctus and later as an independent. His specialist areas
are productivity, profit improvement and change management.
He
carries out in-depth diagnostic analyses of companies in order to find solutions
to improve performance. He has developed products in time management, supervisor
training and executive coaching. Mark
was previously Managing Partner of LusoCristal Consulting, subsidiary of a multinational
group specialised in the hotel and catering sector. Before that he was Associate
Director of the French company PMGI. He has consulted for more than 40 well known
companies in Portugal. Previously Director of a British multinational in Brazil.
His first career was as an Officer in the British Army Commandos. Member
of the Board of the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce. MA in Economics from
Cambridge University. Mark's native tongue is English and he speaks fluent Portuguese. Mark
Crathorne is British and lives with his family near Lisbon.
